As someone with a visual impairment, the darker color does actually help me read stuff on here and hurt my eyes less. However, I don’t get why they didn’t make it an accessibility OPTION like it is on every other website/device ever. Just another example of staff completely missing the point.
As someone who has a visual impairment of not only really bad near sightedness, but astigmatism as well - who then also gets headaches quite frequently due to stark contrast/bright lights etc - the update gave me a headache in under 10 minutes.
It should be an option, most definitely.
